Issue: Unable to Flash Firmware on Seeed Grove Vision AI Module V2 (WiseEye2)
Hello,
I am currently using the Seeed Grove Vision AI Module V2 (WiseEye2) and following the device connection instructions on the Edge Impulse website step by step.
- I have completed the Installing dependencies section.
- In the Connecting to Edge Impulse section, I downloaded the Edge Impulse firmware, but the package did not contain a
firmware.imgfile. - To generate the firmware image myself, I cloned the
edgeimpulse/firmware-seeed-grove-vision-ai-module-v2GitHub repository and followed the building firmware instructions. - After building, I proceeded to the flashing firmware steps:
- Installed Python dependencies
- Installed Edge Impulse CLI tools
- Connected my Grove Vision module to my computer via USB-C cable
However, when I run the command in the Flash firmware and model file section, the terminal only displays python (as shown in the attached screenshot), and nothing else happens—the process does not proceed, and flashing fails.
For the model, I followed the tutorial using my phone, then exported the model as instructed.
Could you please help me troubleshoot why the flashing process is stuck at this step and only shows “python” with no further progress?
