Serial communication obtains data from the cli command line and sends it

**Question/Issue:I want to receive the running results of edge-impulse-linux-runner by cli through serial communication, but it cannot receive data with Chinese characters.

**Project ID:371725

**Context/Use case:it cannot receive data with Chinese characters.

In your screenshot I see you are in fact able to receive data with Chinese characters?

the part below is related to your code and does indeed show an error, but there is no indication that this error related to Chinese characters…
