I have worked on some teaching/classes material around the subject of software, etc…
Inside the materials, A.I. is one of the subjects, besides being just a tiny portion of the whole, and only at a very conceptual level… BUT, important topic anyway…
It is all very, very, very basic stuff, easy concepts, general high level views, ideas…
I am including a slide here, just to reinforce the idea that I will be talking about A.I., but it will be very superficial… it is just enough to be the “first hands-on step” into the matter… (kindergarten stuff)
[slide]
Because it is based on simple ideas/concepts, I am considering teaching the basics of Edge Impulse Platform as a way to start with AI… it does make matters simple enough to justify its usage…
Before starting (teaching it), I need to ask some questions here regarding the BASIC FREE account…
a) Does the Basic Free Account is a permanent feature of EI, in other words, it will continue to be so?
b) I am seeing a msg regarding the Free Account, limiting it in terms of processing-time of some sort… how exactly it works?
An account, or a project is subject to some limit-of-processing, when that time is reached, the project or account goes on “hold”?
Or, it is a limit to the amount of processing-time that a project can use for free, when we invoke some function?
I don’t have anything complex or elaborated in mind, so, limitations on the free account should not affect what I am thinking…
I am new to EI, so, to have a fully clear picture of the situation may require some time playing with it…
To make my decision, at least I need to know if the Basic Free Account is a basic free feature, that will remain, and free, or it is now some kind of ‘try out, time limited’ offer… I am hoping for the former, but if it is more the latter (tryout), then it will affect my thinking about to include it as part of my material or not…
Thank you very much in advance,
Valter
