Nordic Semi Thingy:53 timeout

Hello! I am encountering the following error when trying to connect the Nordic Thingy:53 to an Edge Impulse Project.

Edge Impulse serial daemon v1.14.10
Endpoints:

[SER] Failed to get info off device Timeout when waiting for >  (timeout: 5000) onConnected

I have used the firmware provided on this page and have tried uploading it as a .hex file using a J-Link mini and also as dfu_application.zip using a USB cable. In both cases, the board manifests the same behaviour. I have also tried using another USB cable, another Linux machine and all the available USB ports with no success.

Any clue on how to fix this? Thanks!

I am using nRF Connect version 3.11.1.
