Nodejs Install Error

Question/Issue: Error when I install Node

Project ID:

Context/Use case:
I am trying to add a device (Arduino Nano 33BLE Sense) to my EdgeImpulse. I started with installing Python 3.11. I checked the install and was able to start it. Then I restarted my computer.

Then I installed Nodejs (18.12.1js) and checked the option to install the add-ons. When it installs the plugins, I get this error. I have tried uninstall and reinstalling a few times without any luck. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello @bananthan,

I can see this line:

Have you tried to proceed to the Edge Impulse CLI install? It might work.

If not can you copy the output of

npm install -g edge-impulse-cli --force

Best,

Louis

Hi Louis
I have tried that, but it does not work. Thanks for the suggestion.

One thing I notice is that after installing Nodejs, Python no longer works. I check that by running the program and it no longer takes me to the Cmd prompt.

If there are any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks
Ravi
