My mac cannot find the Arduino Nano BLE Sense device

Hi - I have a 2015 iMac running Big Sur. I believe I’ve installed the software needed per the directions. When I try to flash the firmware onto the dev board, the script reports back that the device cannot be found. So far I cannot see why (it is plugged into the computer via USB and seems to be reset to boot loader mode per instructions). Next steps please?

Hi @mlimkeman,

Can you verify the board is showing up in the OS?

ls /dev/cu.usb*

If it doesn’t return anything I would suspect the USB cable, some don’t support data transfer.
