I want to try image detection with arduino uno

I want to try and make an image detection model for a school project but i only have an arduino uno please help

You wont be able to run object detection on the uno.

If you want to run an impulse on the Uno try following this users post, they had some success deploying to the Uno without some external module or processing that would cost far more than is worth investing in time and effort. If you have a Pixy cam etc that can do some detection then you could run a mode but you would be much better off buying an esp32 camera online for as little as 20 dollars.
