FOMO does not indicate background class for background images, always finds an object

I trained a model with 30 images containing one class and 8 images with no classes. Using Live Classification, background images (images with no objects) are being classified as the object.

I found a post that indicates the background class is automatic, which does appear in Impulse Design → Object Detection, but does not appear elsewhere. (Include some training images of only background with FOMO?)

Any insights to what I am missing?

After adjusting the training cycles and learning rate, background images no longer caused false positives. I made a bad assumption the default parameters were sufficient to create a model that worked well enough to demo crude functionality. :slight_smile:
