Failure during uploading Images

Hi,

I’m new to EdgeImpulse so I’m still on the learning curve, I created a Project for which I have some Images (Each Image is 12KB in Size).

When I upload the first Ten It works without Failures.,

But when I try to upload the second Ten I got an Error, “Failed to upload: An Item with this Hash already exist” ? (See picture below).

These Images have a different name so they should not conflict.

I deleted the whole Project but that didn’t help, so what can be the Issue?

Hi Martin - the first thing I would check is if the second ten images are the same images as the first ten.

I don’t recall if the file name is taken into account when calculating the hash or not; it may be the case that only the contents of the file are used when calculating the hash. If that’s the case, then the same image, even with a different file name, would cause the hash conflict that you are seeing. The samples must be unique.
