Could not find any devices connected over serial port

Hello - I’m using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W/pi cam and have installed the edge-impulse-linux cli, and everything else, but I’m getting the could not find any devices connected over serial port error. I’ve used a raspberry pi zero before, but for some reason I can’t get it to go when I try to run the daemon.

Also, when I try to run edge-impulse-forwarder I get the “command not found” error.

Any ideas?

See this link regarding how to execute the Data Forwarder via the EI CLI: edge-impulse-data-forwarder.

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is not yet an officially EdgeImpulse supported board.

You can load a forwarder onto the Pi like this.

The error could not find any devices connected over serial port error in this case means the daemon cannot understand what the Pi is outputting. See Collecting data from other sensors. For a camera see this.

Thank you for the input! I know its not officially supported, but I was able to get the zero w to work before and was hoping I could get the 2w to work as well!

I’ll give your suggestions a try. Thanks again!
