I want to ask what type of algorithm edge impulse uses to train the model.?

Most of the neural network models are trained using stochastic or batch gradient descent. If you switch to the expert mode view on the model page, you can see the exact Keras code that is used.
That is such an open ended question. It depends on the training data and the design of your Impulse. Please start with the man that is here.
